Deleting Your WhatsApp Data

How to have the messages you sent to Giorgio's WhatsApp business number deleted.

How to Ask

Write to info@gpwr.dev with the subject "Delete my WhatsApp data".
Include the phone number you sent the messages from, so that they can be found.
Giorgio deletes your messages, their attachments and your contact's settings from his home server and from the relay, and replies to confirm when it is done.

What Is Deleted

Your messages and their attachments
The profile name and account identifier stored with them
The settings kept for your contact

Without a Request

Messages and their attachments are deleted automatically 30 days after they arrive. A message the relay could not hand over is deleted from it after 168 hours (7 days) at most.

What This Does Not Cover

The copies on your own phone, and what WhatsApp keeps under its own privacy policy. To delete those, use WhatsApp itself.
