Privacy Policy for Giorgio's WhatsApp Business Number

Last Updated: October 13, 2026

Overview

Giorgio Corrente has a WhatsApp business number on the WhatsApp Business Platform (the Cloud API, run by Meta). Messages sent to it reach PWR console, Giorgio's personal desktop control room, where Giorgio reads and answers them himself. This policy explains what is received, how it travels, how it is used, where it is kept and for how long, and how to have it deleted.

What Is Received

  • The messages you send to the number: text, and any photo, audio, video, document or other file you attach.
  • What WhatsApp delivers with each message: your WhatsApp profile name, the identifier of your account (your phone number or a WhatsApp user ID), and when the message was sent.
  • The delivery and read status of the replies sent to you.

How Messages Reach Giorgio

  • Meta delivers each message to a small relay on Giorgio's own server. The relay checks that the message really comes from Meta and keeps it only until PWR console has collected it; then it deletes it securely.
  • A message that PWR console does not collect is deleted from the relay after 168 hours (7 days) at most.
  • PWR console checks Meta's signature again and stores the message on Giorgio's own home server.

How Messages Are Used

  • To show your messages to Giorgio on his own screens, the PWR console desktop app and his phone app, so that he can answer them.
  • Reply drafts are written by AI models that run locally, on Giorgio's own machines. A draft is only a suggestion: nothing is sent to you until Giorgio has read it and confirmed the send himself.
  • Claude, the AI model by Anthropic, sees a message only when Giorgio chooses to send it that specific message. A contact marked "never cloud" is never sent to Claude.

Where Messages Are Kept, and for How Long

  • Messages and their attachments are kept on Giorgio's home server for 30 days, and at most the latest 300 messages per contact. Older messages are deleted together with their attachments.
  • The settings Giorgio keeps for a contact (a name he gives it, and whether it may ever be sent to the cloud) stay until he removes them, or until you ask for deletion.
  • Logs record sizes, counts and times only: no message text and no phone numbers.

What Is Never Done

Your messages are NOT:

  • Shared with anyone, other than as described on this page
  • Sold
  • Used for advertising
  • Used for profiling

Apart from WhatsApp itself, no one but Giorgio reads your messages.

WhatsApp and Meta

WhatsApp carries the messages between you and the number, under its own terms and privacy policy:

Deleting Your Data

You can ask at any time for your messages, their attachments and your contact's settings to be deleted. The steps are on the page Deleting Your WhatsApp Data.

Changes to This Policy

If how messages are received, used or kept changes, this page will be updated and the date above will change.
