What I do
I have been building production software for more than fifteen years, and I still write code every day. I lead an engineering team across Italy and Vietnam, set the technical direction, and keep the hardest systems for myself: cloud infrastructure, backends, and the self-hosted AI that runs inside them.
On my own time I build the tools I want to use: apps for Android and the desktop in Rust and Tauri, home automation, and 3D-printed enclosures for the hardware that runs it.

Country risk intelligence for global mobility: the official travel advice of nine governments, reviewed by experts, as one report per country with risk maps and an assistant that cites its sources.

An AI assistant that answers from the official documents in your own archive, and cites the source of every answer.
Navionix
For Ippodromo Ghirlandina
Live tracking for horse racing: satellite positioning on every runner a hundred times a second, live classification and split times, and the graphics for the TV broadcast.
Things I've made
WireGate
An Android app that turns your phone into a remote for your home. Each button sends a request to one of your devices, and can open a private WireGuard tunnel first. It works from the launcher, a Wear OS watch and Android Auto.

Winkie
Gets office multifunction printers scanning to Windows PCs again. One install prepares the PC and tells the printer where to send the scans; a small service then keeps the printer pointed at the PC when its address changes.
